CTI – Communication Trend Italia has always aimed to stand out as a company with high quality standards. Our main objective is professionalism, along with precision, inherited from our previous business as a patent agent, rigor in the application of regulations, confirmed by our double UNI EN ISO 9001 and UNI EN ISO 17100certification, and the expertise of our translators, selected based on university level, thorough knowledge of the sector, and extensive experience in the translation field.

These objectives are more important than ever for translations in economic, financial, legal and insurance sectors, achieved thanks to the expert use of terminologyand constant updatingby our auditors regarding the binding provisions, directives and legislation in different countries.

The translation and revision processes are managed with state-of-the-art ICT solutions, which allow our project managers to coordinate the work of the translation teams, terminologists and revisers individually, or simultaneously, involved in projects of all sizes.

Our widespread use of technology based on translation memories and CAT tools guarantees customers uniform terminology and the reduction of translation and layout times. In line with our mission, this  choice enables us to translate any type of document in the shortest time possible with the best quality/price ratio.

We guarantee the utmost confidentiality for all jobs entrusted to us.

Economic and Financial Translations

We have many years of experience in the translation of financial statements and consolidated financial statements, information sheets, financial reports and all the major financial documents that form the basis of relations with investors, banks and financial intermediaries.

We have always worked with international administrative departments, banks and audit firms, industry leaders, some of which are listed in the footnotes.

Our native-speaking translators are constantly updated on the development of accounting standards (IAS and IFRS) and our sector-specific economics and finance glossaries are approved by customers operating in the field.

This considerable experience with top Italian and international companies is supported by our Master’s in Economics and Finance, which offers high level preparation for translators and interpreters and supplements academic training with the actual documentary and communication needs of our customers.

Transfer Pricing

Transfer pricing regulations, i.e. the policies applied to transfer prices charged for the purchase of goods and services between companies belonging to the same corporate group, require taxpayers to prepare suitable documentation to verify conformity with the normal value of transfer prices applied in the context of cross-border intercompany transactions.

The 2017 Corrective Measure replaced reference to the normal value standard with the arm’s length principle.

All companies residing in Italy that adopt a system of documentary checks in relation to the transfer prices charged in transactions with associated companies are required to prepare suitable documentation in the foreign language. The adoption of the Measure by the Inland Revenue has made this mandatory since January 2011. Companies must therefore prepare suitable documentation consisting of a master file, containing information on the group, and country-specific documentation, reporting information on the resident company. Documentary checks are diversified for holding companies, sub-holding companies, subsidiaries, and permanent business establishments.

In light of these requirements, we have prepared a specialised glossary and translated countless pages for companies, audit firms, international accounting and law firms, building on our specialisation in the economic and financial sector.

On request, we can arrange the certification, legalisation and, if required, the consular legalisationof translated documents.

Court, Legal, Insurance and Patent Translations

One of our strengths is the legal sector, for which we avail of translators and revisers with law degrees.

We work for many renowned law firms, some of which are mentioned in the footnotes, and for the internal legal departments of leading companies such as Giorgio Armani, Pepsi-Cola, Computer Associates and Panasonic, providing the translation of contracts, mergers, acquisitions, due diligence, privacy regulations, labour laws, judicial documentsanddisputes, as well as tender documentation (call for bids, procedures and specifications), opinions, arbitration procedures as well as court-sworn translations.

Finally, we translate all main types of insurance documents.

In order to provide high-level specialisation for translators, interpreters, lawyers, trainee lawyers and law graduates, we offer a Master’s in Legal Translation from English into Italian, well aware that the market requires and will always require accurate translations in terms of content and terminology in addition to impeccable language skills.

We also specialise in the translation of patents and intellectual property documents, taking care of both the technical and legal aspects for proper protection.
