Certified Translations
CTI – Communication Trend Italia offers certified translations (sworn translations) in all main languages.
It is not permitted to certify translations from one foreign language to another without passing through Italian. Therefore, in the case of certified translation between languages other than Italian, our translators first prepare a document in the foreign language with the translation into Italian with a sworn statement and, then, the translation from Italian into the other foreign language with its relative sworn statement.
Although appraisals or extrajudicial translations may be certified before a clerk or a notary, without limitations as to the place of residence of the expert/translator, the President Delegate of the Court of Milan has ordered that the certification of translations is only permitted for members of the REGISTER OF COURT-APPOINTED TECHNICAL CONSULTANTS or the REGISTER OF CHAMBER OF COMMERCE EXPERTS, under the TRANSLATORS/INTERPRETERS category (see the decision).
Ms Ornella Hugony, General Manager of CTI – Communication Trend Italia, is responsible for the translators-interpreters section of Collegio Lombardo Periti Esperti Consulenti and is in charge of training internal and external CTI collaborators in the field of expert consultancy.
CTI offers its cooperation and consultancy for all your needs regarding:
- sworn translations for Italy and abroad with legalization by the public prosecutor’s office
- any legalization by foreign consulates and chambers of commerce
- any legalisation of Italian originals by the prefecture.
Legal, financial and economic translations, among others, require great expertise in the field and excellent knowledge of expert consultancy.
For this reason, CTI Communication Trend Italia is the only Italian agency that organises Translation Masters’ in economic and financial translation, legal translation, medical and pharmaceutical translation and IT and localization, in order to prepare translators and interpreters with expertise in the specific fields of certified or non-certified translation.
Certified translations comply with the provisions of Article 5 of Royal Decree No. 1366 of 9/10/1922, Presidential Decree 396/2000, Law 445/2000.
